Gill ran Chambres d’hôtes des Parcs in the Dordogne from 2011 to 2017 where she welcomed guests from as far away as Australia, Japan, Israel and America and of course Europe. Conseqently she is able to transfer her experience to her new bed and breakfast in the Charente. She is a country lover and has several horses, two lovely dogs and a cat plus some chickens. Gill loves to walk and ride on the numerous paths and tracks in the area. She also maintains an organic vegetable garden for her own consumption and for the bed and breakfast.
The wellbeing of her guests on arrival and throughout their stay is very important to Gill. Meeting people and getting to know them is a pleasure and one of the most enjoyable parts of her business.
Gill has also worked hard to ensure that the rooms and especially the beds are comfortable.
Last but not least Gill speaks fluent French which allows her to get the most out of living in France by interacting with the local people. She also teaches French and English in her spare time.
